Members joining during the year receive all applicable membership benefits for the remainder of that calendar year. Memberships received on or after October 1 will generally be applied to the upcoming calendar year, unless the member specifically indicates their intent to join WFA for the current calendar year. Memberships applied to the upcoming year will become effective January 1 and include all applicable benefits for that membership year.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
WFA’s annual membership renewal period takes place October through December, with members welcome to renew early for the upcoming calendar year at any time. To maintain continuous membership and uninterrupted access to member benefits, members are encouraged to renew before the start of the new calendar year.
PRINTED DIRECTORY DEADLINE - DECEMBER 1
To ensure inclusion in the following year’s printed WFA Date List & Membership Directory, membership renewal payment must be received by December 1. The annual publication begins distribution at the WFA Convention. Renewals received after December 1 are still welcome. While inclusion in the printed WFA Date List & Membership Directory cannot be guaranteed after the publication deadline, renewed members will continue to receive all applicable membership benefits and recognition through WFA’s other communication channels.
