Showcase

The Western Fairs Association has a membership of more than 150 fairs throughout the Western United States and Canada. Every season the fairs of the west spend more than $40 million buying acts and attractions to perform during fair time. These acts perform before a collective audience that exceeds 20 million people. Showcasing at the WFA Convention gives you the opportunity to grab some of those entertainment dollars.

Showcasing is THE Marketing Tool

for entertainers looking to play their local and/or surrounding fairs

With two showcasing opportunities in Reno, there's never been a better way to demonstrate your value to industry decision makers. Perform on-stage in Reno as part of Monday night's Live Entertainment Showcase, or gain exposure throughout convention by being part of our new Video Showcase Gallery.

Live Entertainment Showcase

The Live Entertainment Showcase is your 15-minute audition for fair entertainment buyers. Fair entertainment buyers consider several factors when booking acts for fairs: acts that fit a fair’s specific demographic or theme, acts that are familiar or family friendly, and acts that are fun, entertaining, and that engage the audience.

NEW! Video Showcase Gallery

We're REMIX-ing the way we Showcase our members' talents, using the latest technology to ensure every act and vendor has the opportunity to show buyers exactly how they operate at fairtime. Using Augmented Reality, the Video Showcase Gallery allows you to demonstrate to buyers how your act or booth really looks -and sounds- at a fair, showing actual fairgoers loving engaging with you! Now you'll be able to tell your story in three parts - without any load times between videos!

Watch the demonstration we did on Facebook Live!

The Video Showcase Gallery will be located in the Ballroom Foyer, providing access to delegates every hour the convention is open, with heavy traffic as delegates gather for whole-room sessions! A WFA Convention Intern will be available to assist delegates in viewing your act directly on their phone. Since each viewer controls the volume on their phone, the performance will always be perfect. And without having to prepare for a live performance, you’ll be free to network and enjoy all that REMIX has to offer.

Each Video Showcase panel includes one 8.5”x11” photo of your business for easy recognition, three 3”x4½” Augmented Reality hyperphotos each containing a 15-second video, and one envelope to collect business cards from interested buyers.

For reference, we've created several mock-ups featuring some of our members:
of

Perfect for Grounds Acts

of

Perfect for Food & Beverage Concessionaires

of
