What is the WFA Showcase?

The Western Fairs Association has a membership of more than 150 fairs throughout the Western United States and Canada. Every season the fairs of the west spend more than $40 million buying acts and attractions to perform during fair time. These acts perform before a collective audience that exceeds 20 million people. Showcasing at the WFA Convention gives you the opportunity to grab some of those entertainment dollars.

Showcasing is THE Marketing Tool

for entertainers looking to play their local and/or surrounding fairs

A Showcase is your 15-minute audition for fair entertainment buyers. Fair entertainment buyers consider several factors when booking acts for fairs: acts that fit a fair’s specific demographic or theme, acts that are familiar or family friendly, and acts that are fun, entertaining, and that engage the audience.

Application Requirements

Application submissions require a $25 fee and the following support materials:

  • EPK or YouTube link (DVDs also accepted)
  • One digital photo (preferably color)
  • Stage layout/plot

Email materials to the WFA Meetings & Trade Show Manager or mail to:
